Less than 10 days later, on October 30, 2010, thousands of people pulled out their smartphones and checked in 30,000 times at the Rally to Restore Sanity, hosted by popular "Comedy Central" hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. The rally drew 200,000 people to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It’s estimated that 10 percent of those attendees were on foursquare, making it the most checked-in event of 2010.
